Red LED — Fault
Indicates a problem with the wiring loom or hardware. Check all connections if this LED is on.
Yellow LED — Standby
Module is in standby — installed correctly and all connections are good, but not yet active.
Green LED — Active
Module is active and working correctly. This is the normal operating state when the engine is running and the installation is confirmed good.
16-Position Rotary Switch
Positions 0–F. Factory set to Position A = 25% power gain. Do not adjust past Position C. D–F have no function.

There is a fault with the installation. The Red LED indicates either:

Yellow LED
Standby — Ready
STANDBY
Everything is connected correctly. The module is installed and ready but is currently in standby mode — not yet delivering active power boost.
This is normal during startup or low-demand operation. The module is waiting for conditions to activate.

Green LED
Active — Working
ACTIVE
Module is active and working correctly. The PowerModule is delivering enhanced performance at your selected rotary switch setting.

Position 0 — Original / Standby — Module is connected but not adding any power gain. Engine runs as stock.
Position A — Factory Setting (25% gain) — This is where your module ships from STEINBAUER. Recommended starting point for most applications.
Positions B–C — Extra Performance — Beyond the factory setting. Use with care. Maximum recommended user adjustment is Position C.
Positions D, E, F — No Function. Do not adjust the rotary switch past Position C. Positions D through F serve no purpose and are outside the operating range.
Installation & Startup Sequence

Connect module to wiring harness. All LEDs should be off — no power yet.

Turn ignition ON. Module powers up. If wiring is correct, Yellow LED illuminates — standby confirmed.

If Red LED is ON — stop and check wiring loom and all connectors before proceeding. Do not operate.

Start engine and operate normally. Green LED illuminates — module is active and working correctly. Installation complete.

Optionally adjust the rotary switch. Factory default is Position A = 25% gain. Adjust between 0 and C as desired. Never go past C.
