What Is DYNOLink®?

DYNOLink® is a proprietary PRUFSTAND® technology that allows you to physically connect multiple PRUFSTAND® PTO dynamometer units together to test equipment at higher horsepower ratings than any single unit could handle alone.

Here's how the math works:

With three or more units, you can push testing capability even further — up to 2,400HP in the right configuration.

For context: Avtron's top-of-the-line Froment 680 dynamometer maxes out at 680PS (approximately 670HP) with no ability to scale beyond that. DYNOLink® means PRUFSTAND® can more than triple that number.

Every Branch Gets What It Needs Day-to-Day

For most routine testing — pre-delivery inspections, trade-in assessments, standard fault diagnostics — the PRUFSTAND® A400 handles the majority of workloads at 400HP. Each branch can have its own A400 unit for everyday use without requiring a significant per-branch investment.

Branches Combine When You Need More

When a high-HP machine comes in — a large combine, a flagship row-crop tractor, a high-powered forager — two or more branches can combine their units to hit the required testing capacity. No single branch needs to carry the cost of a dedicated high-HP testing system they'd rarely use alone.

This is a fundamentally different model from buying a single, expensive high-capacity fixed unit and trying to share it logistically.

The Asset Moves With the Work

Because every PRUFSTAND® unit is completely independent — no water supply, no power connection, no hydraulic fluid — the units are genuinely portable. They can be trailer-mounted or adapted to fit inside a service vehicle. When two branches need to combine for a big test, the units come to the machine — not the other way around.

A Real-World Example

Imagine a dealer group with three locations across a 100-mile radius. Each branch runs an A400 for daily testing. A large farming operation 30 miles from Branch 2 has a 1,000HP articulated tractor they need diagnosed before the season starts.

Without DYNOLink®: That machine either needs to travel to a specialist facility (if one even exists nearby), or the diagnosis goes undone and the problem goes unresolved until something breaks during planting.

With DYNOLink®: Branch 2 and Branch 3 each bring their A400 units. Two A400s linked together = 800HP. Add a third unit from Branch 1 and you're testing at 1,200HP. The test happens on-site, the report gets generated, and the machine is cleared for the season.
